Waited a month and a half before sending the paper to reviewers, and only after I prompted them. Many months later, I ask for an update. I get the rejection letter the following day. Clearly, the review reports had been sitting in their system for some time, and they had neglected to notify me. I've had similar experiences with APQ before, and will avoid them from now on.

The journal underwent editorial change during the time my paper was under review, but 11 months was an awfully long time to wait for what were (at least to me) clearly AI generated referee reports (one recommended R&R, the other rejection, editor went with reject).

Honestly, this has been the worst experience ever. Nothing has gone right.

The irresponsible editor didn't send the paper to referees after three months.

Instead of engaging with the manuscript, the shallow referee only made very general but also disrespectful comments. If you can't write a proper reviewer report, please get another job!
